Matthew Perry was born on August 19, 1969, in Williamstown. He was the child to mother Suzanne Langford, who is a Canadian journalist. 

And, his father, John Bennett Perry, is an American actor and former model. When Matthew was a toddler, his parents got separated. Subsequently, he moved to Ottawa, Ontario, with his mom.
